The unique trip will start with a visit to the Moon Bay and Feilai Temple, two iconic attractions in Deqin County, Diqing Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture. The Moon Bay is one of the iconic landscapes at the World Natural Heritage Site "Three Parallel Rivers of Yunnan Protected Areas". The Jinsha River rushing down from the Tibetan Plateau makes a dramatic 180° turn between towering mountains, forming a perfect Ω-shaped bend, hence the nature's most spectacular wonder 'Moon Bay'.
The Feilai Temple with over 400 years of history is a small but iconic Buddhist temple located in Deqin, Yunnan. The ancient temple, seemingly 'flying' onto the cliffs, is a revered pilgrimage site where Tibetan Buddhism meets the majestic panorama of the Meili Snow Mountain Range.
Day 2: Feilai Temple-Bingzhongluo
Attractions & Activities: Gold Mountain of Sunrise (depends on weather), First bend of Yangzi River, Cizhong Church, and Lisu Ethnic Village

In the morning, you can wake up early to witness the golden sunrise painting the snow-capped Meili Snow Mountain – a breathtaking spectacle known as "Gold Mountain of Sunrise". After enjoying the awe-inspiring sight, you'll move on to explore the First Bend of the Yangtze River and Lisu Village.
The First Bend of the Yangtze River is a dramatic natural wonder where Asia's longest river makes a sudden 120° turn, carving a majestic V-shape through the Hengduan Mountains. The Lisu ethnic village nestled in the mountains, however, captivates with its vibrant handwoven textiles, wooden stilt houses, and ancient polyphonic folk songs echoing through the valleys.
Day 3: Bingzhongluo
Attractions & Activities: Qiunatong Village, Wuli Village, Shimen Pass, Chongding Chruch, Puhua Temple

Nestled in the heart of Yunnan's Three Parallel Rivers region, Bingzhongluo Town is a hidden gem where rugged mountain landscapes meet rich ethnic culture. This remote frontier area, home to the Dulong, Nu, and Tibetan peoples, offers breathtaking scenery along the ancient Tea-Horse Road. The dramatic Stone Gate (Shimen Pass) – a sheer cliff split by the roaring Nujiang River – marks the gateway to this mystical land. Nearby, Chongding Church stands as a striking fusion of Tibetan and Western architecture, its white steeple contrasting against the alpine backdrop. Meanwhile, Puhua Temple, a serene Tibetan Buddhist monastery, overlooks terraced fields, embodying the region’s spiritual harmony.
Venture deeper to discover Qiunatong Village, a picturesque hamlet draped over misty slopes, where wooden cabins and barley fields seem suspended between heaven and earth. Just a short trek away, Wuli Village clings to cliffs above the emerald Nujiang, accessible only by a centuries-old trail carved into the rock face. These timeless settlements, where locals still wear handwoven textiles and tend yaks, feel untouched by modernity.

After Gaoligong Mountain trekking, you'll going to explore the mystical Dulong tribe villages in the Dulong River Valley, which are the home to the enigmatic Dulong tribe, famed for their unique facial-tattooed women. The intricate tattoos on the women's face etched in lines of indigo embody a fading tradition once believed to ward off evil and mark coming of age in their isolated valley along the Dulong River.
Day 5: Dulongjiang-Fugong
Attractions & Activities: Pukawang Village, Biluo Snow Mountain, Shiyueliang Village, and First Bend of Nujiang River
Accommodation: Fugong
Meals: hotel breakfast (lunch and dinner at your own expense)
Nestled deep in the Dulong River Valley, Pukawang Village offers an immersive encounter with the indigenous Dulong culture. Surrounded by primeval forests and crisscrossed by crystal-clear streams, this secluded hamlet is famed for its traditional stilt houses and the last generation of facial-tattooed Dulong women. You can hike to nearby waterfalls, cross vine bridges suspended over emerald waters, and witness the annual "Knife-Pole Festival" – a breathtaking display of ethnic acrobatics performed on razor-sharp blades.
The Biluo Snow Mountain Viewing Platform, however, unveils a 360-degree theater of nature's extremes. At 3,500 meters elevation, this vantage point frames four parallel rivers (including the raging Nu Jiang) slicing through sawtooth ridges – a UNESCO-listed geological wonder. Further north, Stone Moon Village clings to cliffs beneath its namesake: a colossal limestone arch piercing the skyline, formed by millennia of wind erosion. Nearby, the First Bend of Nu River performs a perfect Ω-shaped turn around the Pihe Rock, creating a yin-yang illusion where jade waters meet golden sandbars. Sunrise here transforms the canyon into a molten spectacle, best observed from the ancient Tibetan prayer flags fluttering at the bend's apex.
Day 6: Fugong-Laomudeng
Attractions & Activities: Nujiang Grand Canyon, Feilai Stone, Zhiziluo Village, and Laomudeng Church
Accommodation: Fugong

Begin this day's journey with a breathtaking drive along the Nujiang Grand Canyon, where the roaring Nu River carves through 3,000-meter-deep gorges. Then, visit the enigmatic Feilai Stone – a massive 500-ton boulder mysteriously perched atop a smaller rock, revered by locals as a spiritual guardian.
We'll also take you to explore Zhiziluo, the abandoned "Memories City" frozen in 1980s socialist architecture. Walk empty streets lined with Mao-era slogans and visit the eerie Octagonal Library, a relic of this once-booming administrative hub. After that, ascend to Laomudeng Village where the white-steeped Christian Church stands against the backdrop of the Biluo Snow Mountain. If timed right, you'll hear hymns sung in the local Nu language – a surreal blend of Tibetan highland culture and 19th-century missionary legacy.
Day 7: Laomudeng-Tengchong
Attractions & Activities: Tengchong Hot Spring Festival
Accommodation: none
Meals: hotel breakfast (lunch and dinner at your own expense)
The last day, we'll take you to Tengchong, home to natural hot springs. You can join the Tengchong Hot Spring Festival events there.
